Xiaomi has Finally started the Beta Testing of the Digital Payment Platform, Mi-Pay. The Company has partnered with ICICI Bank and PayU for Launching this Payment Platform.
Unlike Other Payment Platform like Google Pay, Mi-Pay also allows users to make Payment using debit cards, credit cards, and net banking too. They can be also used to make payments for several utilities with Mi Pay such as phone bill/recharge, DTH recharge, water bill, electricity bill. Like other UPI-based apps, Mi-Pay in India has support for QR Payments. In order to Participate in the Ongoing Beta Testing, You Need to be on Mi Global Beta Rom.
“Mi Pay’s biggest advantage is its deep integration within MIUI which makes transferring payments to contacts and vendors extremely easy. To begin with, Mi-Pay would be integrated within the Contacts, SMS, Scanner apps as well as App Vault in MIUI.”, the Company said in its Forum.
