The American Tech giant Qualcomm unveiled their Snapdragon 675 Chipset in October 2018 which was manufactured in 11nm Process Technology. Since it was launched there are no news or rumors about it. Then the benchmarking website known as AnTuTu benchmark revealed the benchmark scores of this Snapdragon 675 Chipset, to everyone’s surprise this processor just scored more than the Snapdragon 710 which was build on a 10nm Process architecture.
The following are the Benchmarking scores of Snapdragon 670,675,710
Qualcomm snapdragon 670 – 1,50,000
Qualcomm snapdragon 675 – 1,70,000
Qualcomm snapdragon 710 – 1,74,402
Obviously snapdragon 670 was the predecessor of snapdragon 675 launched back in August 2018, which not only out performed its predecessor but also the one which is superior (SD 710).
The Snapdragon 675 SoC sports a newer architecture with fourth-generation octa-core Kryo 460 CPU, which comes with two high-power cores clocked at 2GHz and six low-power cores that run on 1.7GHz. It can support up to 8GB RAM at 1866 MHz.
Snapdragon 675 has been designed to deliver enhanced performance in gaming and photography using AI-based features. Qualcomm says it can boot games 30 percent faster and surfing the web should also be 35 percent faster over its predecessor. The SoC also comes equipped with the Adreno 612 GPU that is said to isolate graphics demanding tasks for improved efficiency.
We can experience mid-range smartphones with this chipset throughout 2019.
