Samsung has launched their new midrange series titled as M-series here in India. The letter M stands for Millennials. Two models of these phones have been released now “The M10 and M20” the next model M30 will be released later this year. Before the launch Samsung advertised that this phone will be a beast in an aggressive pricing, now that the phone has been launched did it live up to its hype??
Both this phone come with an infinity V display which is literally a Dew drop notched display. As Samsung doesn’t wanted to use the word notch they found a new name for it, these phones also have dual sim feature, aggressive pricing, Face unlock and a new camera setup 13+5 MP, the 13 mega pixel is the primary sensor and the 5MP is a wide-angle lens.
The Samsung M10 comes with a 6.2-inches LCD panel with 720P resolution, the infinity V display in this phone carries a 5MP f/2.0 aperture and this phone does not have a fingerprint scanner. The chipset and RAM are another step down from the Galaxy M20 – an Exynos 7870 that’s mated to 2GB or 3GB of RAM. The battery in this phone is a 3420Mah battery and a regular charging.
Samsung galaxy M20 comes with a 6.3-inches IPS LCD panel with a Full HD + display and the dew drop notch in this phone carries an 8MP selfie camera, this camera also works as a face unlock scanner and speaking of biometrics, this phone also has a Fingerprint scanner mounted in the back. The Galaxy M20 is powered by an Exynos 7904 (14nm, 4x Cortex-A73 @ 1.8GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.8GHz) with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
Both the Galaxy M20 and the Galaxy M10 will be available through Amazon India and Samsung’s own store in Ocean Blue or Charcoal Black. The Galaxy M20 is priced at Rs 11,000 for the 3GB model and Rs 13,000 for the 4GB one. The Galaxy M10 costs Rs 8,000 for the 2GB entry-level model and Rs 9,000 for the 3GB model – shipments commence on February 5.
