As you guys know ,Nokia finally launched the much awaited Nokia X6 as the Nokia 6.1 Plus here in India. Nokia 6.1 plus has a top notch design and a nice build quality. But, it has only 3060 mAh battery. Today let’s see how much the battery can withstand and will it be sufficient for a days usage?Let’s find out today
Charging test :
Following our tradition,Today also we will begin this real live test with the charging test!Nokia 6.1 plus supports Qualcomm quick charging 3. Company bundles a charger stating it is as a fast charger. But, in reality it is just a normal charger. With the supplied charger it takes about 2:30 hours to charge the phone fully from 0% to 100%. With a Qualcomm fast charge it gets fully charged in 1:55 Hours.
Battery test :
Now the time is 9:20AM and the phone is now fully charged. Will Check the phone every 2-3 hours and notice the battery discharge time.
Now the time is 12:50. It has been 90 minutes since the full charge. Now we have
82% of remaining battery and we have got a screen on time of 1hr 19min.We have seen a drop of 18%. We just used social media and other casual usage during the past 90 minutes.
Now the time is 3:03 It has been 144 minutes since the last check. Now we have
53% of remaining battery and we have got a screen on time of 3hr 26min.We have seen a drop of 29%. We been watching movie for sometime and you can see the battery drop for yourself. We will be playing our favourite game Pubg and will see the battery drop of about 60 minutes of Pubg.
Now the time is 4:05. It has been 62minutes since the last check. Now we have
32% of remaining battery and we have got a screen on time of 4hr 27min.We have seen a drop of 21%. We played pubg for almost 60%. SO now you know if you play 60 minutes of pubg in this device you will loose 21% of your battery.
Now the time is 6:38. It has been 2hours 24minutes since the last check. Now we have only 4% of remaining battery and we have got a screen on time of 6hr 19min.We have seen a drop of 28%. These all time we only used the phone casually. So after a full day’s test now we come to know that with this phone you will get a average of 5:30 – 6:00 hours of screen on time.
We have tested the phone today fully. It takes about two and half hours to get charged fully with the supplied charger.we would be happy if the company had provided with a fast charger out of the box. The smartphone give us a screen on time of 6hr:19min. Considering a small 3060 mAh battery, We think Nokia has done good optimisation here. This phone is not for those who wants a two days battery life. This phone can last for one day’s of usage.
