Honor, which is the sub brand of the Chinese manufacturer Huawei has now launched a new mid-range flagship popularly called as “The Honor View 20”
It has already launched in China. Pre-booking has been started in India and will be available in main stream market from January 29. The two most highlightable feature of this phone are the punch hole display and the 48MP Sony IMX 586 Camera sensor. This camera is not the same as that of the one we’ve seen in Redmi note 7 which will be explained in detail below.
|Screen size (inches)||6.40|
Battery and Variants
|Battery capacity (mAh)||4000|
|Colours||Black, Blue, Red|
|Processor make||HiSilicon Kirin 980|
|Operating system||Magic UI based on Android 9 pie|
|Rear camera||48-megapixel (f/1.8)|
|Front camera||25-megapixel (f/2.0)|
|WLAN||Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot|

|GPS||Yes, with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS|
|USB||3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go|
The punch hole display in this phone looks promising which may or may not end as a permanent alternative for notch phones. As said earlier the 48 MP camera used in this phone is different from the one we have seen in Redmi note 7, The one in the Redmi phone is a 48MP Samsung sensor which captures images in 12MP and with some pixel bending techniques it combines 4 pixels into one and make it look like 48MP. But the 48MP camera used in this honor view 20 is sony IMX 586 which directly captures 48MP Images.
Oneplus 6T Killer
Even though the specifications of this phone make us think that this phone is better than the oneplus 6T, there is another side of this phone where it lacks an Amoled display and an unfamiliar UI.
